    Hi Shaun
Sorry, I tried to include too much! I wished to say that if you wanted any help on the historical facts of the period from the mid forties to 1960, I would be only too willing to help.Incidentally The Fairiey Aviation Band were the first to tour Holland in 1948, we were the second in 1949.Roy Newsome chronicles in his book ‘The Modern Brass Band ‘that in 1949/50/52 Carlton Main emulated the success of Fairies ,he also states that between 1956 /60 Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band was the most successful contesting band overall.! Congratulations on your latest success in Bradford. I have very happy memories of Cartlton Main , a band with a great heritage

    Hi All,

I have a question for you….. You guys played an arrangement of Pokarekare Ana at Brass in Concert 2003, any chance you could let me know where I can buy a copy of the sheet music, I fancy playing it as a Sop solo.

By the way, well done at the recent contests, see you’re flying up the rankings!!!!

    Cheers
